Burlington area workshop to create custom headwear

Making a custom hat can be a fun way to get creative, and a workshop not far from Burlington will offer its registrants the opportunity to do just that.

The participants in the activity will each be crafting their own personalized “chapeau,” and SMMurphy Creations’ Stephanie Murphy will be sharing her expertise. A special Valentine’s price is on offer for the evening, and seating will be first come, first served.

The check-in station for the event will be open half an hour ahead of its start time, and to add an extra dash of fun to the experience, an add-on is available that includes drinks, a grazing table, and other fare. The facilitator will teach the basic skills needed for decorating the hats, and each ticketholder will receive their hat, a charm, a band, and an accessory. Tools will also be provided, and participants can choose their size and style for their project.

Attending a workshop or other activity can add some fun to what can seem like a long Wisconsin winter season. A flyer printing company can help to promote an event to the public by preparing a variety of attention-grabbing marketing materials.

The Hat Lady will be sharing her skills during this in-person session planned for Friday, February 14. It is scheduled to be held at 41 N Wisconsin Street in Elkhorn.
