Burlington area workshop to craft faux flora

Since not everyone has a green thumb, a Burlington class has been planned that will teach how to make a planting that requires a lot less care.

The participants in the Faux Felt Succulent workshop will be preparing artificial dish gardens they can display in their home or office. The instructor for the crafting session will be Tiffany Knopow, and all of the materials to be used are included.

The workshop will use felt and other materials to prepare plantings that will add a touch of whimsy to a room. No previous experience is needed, and seats can be reserved by registering through the Burlington Chamber website. The ticket price is $20, and a materials fee of $15 will be applied on the day of the activity.

A crafting class can be a lot of fun, and it also provides an opportunity to enjoy learning something new in a social setting. Small businesses that host these sorts of activities will be able to obtain an assortment of marketing materials that offer a good return on investment from an area printing services company.

This introduction to the fun of working with felt will take place at Bella Botanica. It will be held on Saturday, May 6 starting at 10:00 am. The venue is situated at 1787 Walworth Street in Springfield.
