Burlington area event to challenge participants outdoor skills

Adults from Burlington who would like to put their outdoor skills to the test have been issued a challenge that has been planned to be both educational and fun.

The participants in the Amazing Nature Race will work in teams of two to complete a variety of challenges. These include everything from target practice and kayaking to fishing, identifying plants and wildlife, brain games, biking, and even construction. The organizers point out that everyone is welcome, no matter what their level of experience in outdoor activities may be.

The registration fee for the occasion is $70 for each team, and this includes a bag of swag and a T-shirt. A local printer can supply Logo Design and other creative services that can be used to create put materials together for an event like this. Dinner will also be served to the group, and this comes with tastings of both beer and sodas. Those who plan on being a part of the fun are asked to bring along a bike and a vehicle to drive between the different stations that will be set up.

This day of fun in the great outdoors has been organized for June 24 in Richard Bong State Recreation Area, which is located at 26313 Burlington Road. More information can be found on the Burlington Chamber of Commerce website.
