What's Happening in Baraboo, WI…

Sleepover planned for Baraboos stuffie set

Baraboo kids are invited to bring their stuffed friend to the Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library, and they will be able to see what kind of fun they get up to once the lights go down and the doors are locked.

The venue has planned a Stuffed Animal Sleepover for local kids. It will begin with an activity where the kids can drop off their teddy bear or cuddly creature, and they will be able to pick them up the next day. The event is suitable for all kids from babies to age 11.

The sleepover will kick off with the young guests, who are encouraged to wear comfortable pajamas, enjoying stories and a light snack. Stuffies on show will be treated to adventures thanks to the library’s staff, and when the youngsters come back the next day, they will hear all about the mischief the toys have been up to.

Hosting creative activities that promote literacy can be an effective way for libraries to promote reading, and a poster printing company will be able to lend a hand in promoting such an activity to the public.

The Stuffed Animal Sleepover will open with the story session on Sunday, October 28 at 6:00 pm. The toys can be picked up the next morning, and the library branch is located at 230 Fourth Avenue.
