The scent of lavender has long been appreciated, and a Baraboo farm will provide an immersive experience this summer built around these popular plants.
The team at New Life Lavender farm will be welcoming the public for its U-Pick Lavender Class planned for mid-July. It is scheduled for the peak of its bloom season, and the registration fee includes admission to the venue for the rest of the day.
Everyone who Signs on for the session is asked to arrive at least 10 minutes early for check in, and it will then be the time for the activity to begin. This will start in the Farm’s tour room with instructions on how to properly harvest lavender, and the learners will then be transported by wagon to the flower fields. Each ticket holder can pick their own bundle to take home, and the registration for the workshop is $25.00 each. If the session needs to be cancelled due to bad weather, lavender bundles will be available for pick up in store and the event will be rescheduled, if possible.
Seasonal operations may be in the market for signage and other materials that can easily be stored when not in use. A banner printing company will have various options for this, and it can be prepared at different price points.
