Pet loving artists invited to support local humane society

Baraboo pet owners are invited to create a masterpiece featuring their furry, feathery or scaly friends while supporting their local Humane Society.

The event, named Paint Your Pet: Wine, Canvas and You, will allow those who take part to create a painting of their pet that they can keep to hang up at home. Along with this, there will be appetizers and other refreshments served. Promotional Drinkware that include the organization’s logo can be designed for use during these types of functions.

Those who wish to participate will be asked to submit a picture of their pet, whatever type it may be. Wine Canvas and You’s Phil Rego will then put this onto a canvas that those who take part will paint during the evening of the event, with the end result being a hand painted masterpiece of their very own.

Since the canvasses must be created beforehand, pre-registration is required. Only 50 spots are available, and the cost to take part is $65.00. It is scheduled for March 16th at the Baraboo Country Club starting with appetizers at 6:00 pm.

Those who are interested in being a part of the evening’s activities or who just want to find out more are asked to visit the Sauk County Humane Society’s website. One they have registered, they will be able to send in their photo.
