Food-filled Baraboo fundraiser to connect vets with agriculture

An upcoming Baraboo fundraiser is aiming to help veterans alleviate the burden of being retired from service by helping them connect with nature.

Baraboo FFA promotes a variety of agricultural initiatives, and one of these is aimed at veterans. The proceeds of the 5th annual Flapjacks for Farmers and Friends will be donated to The Farmer Veteran Coalition, and both carry-out and dine-in options will be viable.

Each of the diners who stop by for breakfast will be served a meal of sausages, pancakes, cheese, eggs, and beverages. Food will be available for three hours, and the cost for each plate has been set at $5. Baraboo High School will be the location for the fundraiser, and everyone is welcome to drop by and enjoy breakfast with others from the local area.

When planning grassroots-level fundraisers, planners may find themselves tasked with choosing effective Promotional Products that are also budget friendly. Print shops will have an assortment of options, and their staff can help customers select the ones that are most appropriate for their particular activity.

Flapjacks for Farmers and Friends will be serving up food and fun on Saturday, February 17. The pancakes will be hitting the plates from 8:00am until 11:00am, and advance tickets are not required.
