Chance to see Downton Baraboo from a horse-drawn carriage

The people of Baraboo are invited to climb onto a horse-drawn wagon to take a calming and relaxing ride through the streets of Downtown Baraboo in a manner they have never experienced before.

The pickup point for these rides is at the corner of Oak Street and 3rd. The ride will end when the riders are dropped off at the same point. Riders will get a new perspective on Downtown Baraboo and they do not have to worry about cold weather, because they can warm up with hot chocolate along with other hot foods and drinks sold by merchants. Some revelers might even be entertained by carolers who will be singing with Santa at the Historic AI Ringling Theatre, which was recently renovated.

Downtown Baraboo will also be hosting the Christmas Light Parade with Santa Claus in attendance. Santa will have the honors of lighting Downtown Baraboo’s official Christmas Tree which will be set up close to the AI Ringling Theatre. When the parade is over, families and children in attendance will be able to enter the theatre for a one-on-one with Santa and for a photo opportunity. Flyer printing for such events tends to feature Christmas trees and decorations.

The rides will be available every Saturday until Christmas from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Santa will be at the AI Ringling Theater at 136 4th Avenue at the same time.
