What's Happening in Baraboo, WI…

Baraboos Concert in the Square

Thursday nights in Baraboo this summer are going to be a lot of fun thanks to the Baraboo Concert in the Square. This series of events started on June 6th and will be running every Thursday until August 29th.

The party starts at 7 pm every Thursday evening on the front lawn of Baraboo’s Historic Courthouse. Baraboo locals are encouraged to attend the party with family, picnic baskets and lawn chairs to enjoy the entertainment. A limited number of chairs will be provided and there will be plenty of food and drink for sale.

People of all ages are encouraged to attend. Local businesses such as Edwards Ice Cream Truck, Tin Roof Dairy, and Green Vine are booked to serve patrons with refreshments. Guests can also go to the local restaurants in downtown Baraboo in order to enjoy dinner and cocktails before the show.

The event’s poster printing shows that different bands will perform every week. Revelers will be soothed by the best bands in the state while they enjoy the calming view of the sun setting over the Sauk County Courthouse’s west side. The bands scheduled to play for the final three shows in August are:

- Yid Vicious on August 15th
- Larry Busch Big Band on August 22nd
- The Swing Crew on August 29th

Donations are used to keep the party going so guests are encouraged to put a few bills in the donation buckets. All proceeds will be used to keep the Baraboo Concert in the Square alive and kicking.
