The Downtown Baraboo Spring Wine Walk will be held in a couple of months. A wide variety of wines and food will be available for wine connoisseurs during the event.
Tickets are available for purchase at Bekah Kate’s from April 7. Tickets sell out quickly and must be purchased in-person. To participate, anyone over the age of 21 with a ticket can pick up a glass and wristband from Bekah Kate’s before 6:00 pm on the day of the walk.
Those eager to squeeze in some exercise can walk to over 25 locations featured on the Wine Walk while savouring wine and food. Many businesses along the route have sales events coinciding with the Wine Walk. These businesses are likely to use promotional methods such as flyer printing, advertisements and reduced prices to attract customers.
This is a popular event, so guests are advised to plan ahead to avoid crowds. After picking up a glass and wristband, participants can begin the Wine Walk from any location. Most groups start at the beginning or end location, so beginning at any location in the middle will help in dodging crowded locations while still supporting local businesses.
The Wine Walk is held twice a year, with the spring event set for May 7. Those who miss out on the May event might want to get in line early for the Winter walk on October 19.
