Many people enjoy sipping on a glass of “the fruit of the vine,” and a Baraboo event will give them an opportunity to sip, shop and have fun.
A selection of merchants from the community’s downtown will be taking part in this spring’s Wine Walk. These shops, eateries and service providers will be offering pours of both white and red wines, and each member of the public can reserve up to four tickets.
Those who participate in the day will be able to stroll along, using the map provided to find the locations and record their opinion of the wines they sample. Food may be served at some of the venues. Passes to be included in the activity are $45 each and tend to sell out quickly. Each person who purchases one will receive a tasting glass with a special graphic design.
As alcohol will be served during this activity, it is limited to those aged 21 and up. Along with their glass and map, each attendee will receive a wristband so they can easily be identified at the various locations taking part. As there will be lots of walking, comfortable shoes are recommended, as are government-issued IDs.
The 2024 Baraboo Wine Walk will hit the street on Friday, May 3. The Downtown Baraboo website includes more details and will be updated as its date approaches.
