Baraboo to showcase agricultural equipment from days gone by

A Baraboo event will take a step back in time to the past when steam-powered equipment ruled the roost.

Attendees at the Badger Steam and Gas Engine Club Show will be treated to the chance to view many types of antique and vintage agricultural equipment. There will be 264 acres of items to browse through, and it will run for three days.

The function will have equipment used for threshing, harvesting, and other agricultural tasks on display, and the public can learn how the switch from horsepower to steam or gas. There will be early versions of tractors to view, and construction equipment and a sandbox area are also in the works. Each day will see a parade held at 2:00 pm, and a large pop-up flea market is also on the agenda. Food may be purchased on site and parking will be available.

Attending a fair, festival, or show can make learning fun, and many communities host these activities throughout the year. Banner printing and other marketing services can be sourced from a print professional, which will have a variety of options to choose from.

The Badger Steam and Gas Engine Club Show will be open to visitors on August 16, 17, and 18. It will be open from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm on each day.
