Baraboo to host inaugural Community Christmas Market
The Downtown Baraboo Events Committee recently announced that a new event will be taking place in the community that it hopes will help everyone to have a happy holiday season.
The first Baraboo Community Christmas Market will be on offer in late November, and it will be popping up on Oak Street in the community's downtown. It will be open for four hours so everyone can browse and buy, and it will wrap up in time for the city’s Light Parade.
The market will boast a roster filled with local small businesses, and the public will also be encouraged to discover what the downtown retailers have to offer. Carolers will be strolling through the crowd, and a fire ring will be set up to keep everyone toasty warm. Guests may be able to find the right gift for each person on their Christmas list, or just get their holiday shopping off and running with a month still to go.
Communities throughout Wisconsin will be offering special activities in honor of the holiday season. Poster printing and other decor services for a function will be available at an area print shop.
