What's Happening in Baraboo, WI…

Baraboo event keeps kids safe

Keeping kids safe is a top priority for parents and community members alike, and a celebration aimed at Baraboo families will be filled with information and tips that may help.

The Baraboo Children’s Museum has organized an activity that will be focused on simple ways of keeping kids safe while still encouraging them to have fun and explore the world around them. Thanks to support from its sponsors, there will be a variety of products distributed, and the whole family is on the guest list.

The attendees at the function can browse through the displays that will be on site, and the kids can enjoy the activities that have been set up for them. Topics ranging from fire and boating safety to proper infant and child car seat installation will be on the agenda. It's anticipated that there will be giveaways of life jackets, first aid kits and other items for as long as supplies last. The gathering will be held outdoors, so it may need to be cancelled in case of bad weather.

Safety days and other events give community members time to come together to both learn and get to know one another. Special branded corporate gifts may be distributed, and these are often supplied by local sponsors.

Baraboo’s Children's Museum has organized Child Safety Day for September 20th. The festivities will kick off at 3:00 pm.
