Baraboo bowlers have been offered an opportunity to be part of a fundraiser that will combine bowling with giving kids some unforgettable moments.
The Community Heroes Bowling Fundraiser is right around the corner and this will be its fifth anniversary. It will help to fund the 2024 installment of the Holiday with a Hero program, which works to make sure participating kids have an experience they can look back on fondly for years to come.
Those who would like to get involved can choose to play or sign up for one of the sponsorship packages available to local businesses. Lanes can be sponsored for $100 each, which includes having the Logo Design of the supporter displayed in both the lane and the check-in table. Teams of players can register for $20 per person, and an even-split raffle, door prize draws, and other prize presentations are on the agenda.
Check-in for this active event will open an hour ahead of the bowling so that everyone can get themselves settled. Anyone who has questions or who would like to sponsor the occasion can contact the organizers through email at barabooheroes@gmail.com.
The annual Community Heroes Fundraiser will get rolling at 12:00 noon on Sunday, March 3. Baraboo’s Thunderbird Lanes will be the venue for the afternoon.
