Baraboo area set to welcome spring with wine walk
Residents of Baraboo who are looking forward to enjoying the pleasures of spring after a long and cold winter may want to save the date for an area event that will be hosted by Prairie du Sac’s Water Street Business District.
This group of shops, restaurants, and other businesses has put together a Wine Walk, and there will be 20 stops along the way. The theme for this year’s walk is ‘Sports’, so everyone who participates is encouraged to wear a team uniform or a cheerleading, fan, or coach outfit.
At each of the stops on the walk, the participants can enjoy a sample of red or white wine, and there will also be snacks served and entertainment as well. Only 400 tickets will be sold, so it is advisable to purchase as soon as possible.
Check in will start at 9:00 am on the day of the walk, and when they do so, the walkers will receive a wine glass, which they can keep as a memento of the occasion. A print shop will have a wide selection of corporate gifts like these, and they can be customized for almost any event.
Prairie du Sac will be welcoming guests for this showcase of its Water Street Business District on April 5. Wine glasses can be picked up at 509 Water Street.
