The 53rd annual Badger Steam and Gas Engine Club’s show is taking place next month in Baraboo over three days.
The show will feature displays of many historical and vintage farm vehicles, including antique tractors and steam engines. This year will feature three new categories of displays: farm implements (which will include horse-drawn ones or those attached to steam traction engines); cast iron seats, planter lids and tool Boxes; and Delco Light plants and accessories, in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary.
Other vehicles that are expected to be on display will include antique cars, snowmobiles, and models or miniatures. There will also be demonstrations of woodworking and Print shops.
There is also set to be a flea market, which will feature 600 outdoor sites and 40 inside.
To get around the area, which takes up over five acres, guests can rent golf carts for $70 per day.
This show should appeal to a wide range of Baraboo residents. To help spread the word, the organization could invest in flyer printing services from a local Print company.
The Badger Steam and Gas Engine Club will be held from August 19 to 21. Admission is $8 per person and free for children aged 12 and under when accompanied by an adult. For more information about this annual show, contact the club at 608-522-4905.
