The downtown area will be holding its 16th annual Camas Car Show at the end of June.
Awards will be presented through People's Choice for specific models such as Ford, Mopar, and Chevy. Some others will be for the creative touch, such as interior, original paint, and customizing. Pictures of Best in Show will be sent to local Print shops for next year's poster printing. Car owners will receive goodie Bags, and dash plaques.
Spectators will get free admission and may also enjoy live music beginning at 3:00 pm, raffles, and Virtuosity Performing Arts Studio dance performances at 5:00 pm. Kids will be able to join in activities such as balloon art, and the first 100 to enter the coloring contest will receive Hot Wheels cars.
Sponsorships range from Micro Sponsor at the $50 level to the Signature Sponsor at the $1,000 level. Each level offers amenities featuring the sponsoring business’s Logo Design, and the $500 and $1,000 levels will include booth space.
Proceeds from the car show will go to the Camas Washougal Treasure House Food Bank, and raffle tickets will go to those donating two or more items. This year, the emphasis is on Boxes of macaroni and cheese, and cans of tuna, chicken, and soup.
This year's Camas Car Show will take place on Saturday, June 29 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Downtown Camas.
