GAF, the largest roofing manufacturer in North American, has awarded Icon Corporation, a Spokane Valley company, its 2018 President's Club Award. The award means GAF has chosen Icon, which is a GAF Master Select (TM) contractor, as one of the “elite of the elite” roofing contractors in the nation.
To qualify for the award, which is open only to commercial roofing contractors, a company has to meet certain specific criteria. It has three different possible pathways to the award: performance, reliability, and service. A contractor known for performance focuses on providing the best protection, quality, and service to the property owners they serve. A contractor known for reliability provides the best protection and quality to its customers; and a service-oriented contractor provides the best possible protection to their customers.
Less than 1% of all roofing contractors in the United States are GAFs Master Select(TM) Contractors. To achieve this status, a company must have a stellar reputation, maintain insurance, obtain and keep proper licensing current; and show its commitment to professional training that is ongoing. GAF's Jim Slauson said the company values it contractors, because year after year, they raise the industry standard. The President's Club recognizes the very best of this elite group.
