Spokane Valley brings back 90s country

Music fans are passionate about the best eras and genres for music, and for the organizers of an upcoming concert, country music from the 1990s is the perfect match.

The Northwest Country Music Association is organizing the “90’s Country Really Rocks!!!” event. The music will be by the Rusty Jackson Band with their special guest Chrissy Summering. Audiences can expect to hear tunes made familiar by Jo Dee Messina, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Brooks and Dunn, and Alan Jackson.

The Rusty Jackson Band offers several tribute shows, paying homage to acts like Merle Haggard, the Highwaymen, as well as celebrating themes like “Fresh Americana from Idaho,” and “The Fathers of Rock,” and plays at venues throughout the Pacific Northwest. Chrissy Summering, who is also an Idaho musician, is scheduled to perform as well.

When special events such as this are planned, organizers have the poster printing tools available to help them create colorful and exciting advertising to invite audiences to attend.

Organizers say people who want to relieve the country music of the 1990s should make plans to be at Spokane Valley’s Players and Spectators, a venue that has a spacious concert hall filled with country music from the decade. The concert is on Saturday, July 29, and the evening will include line dancing.
