Senior wellness event in Spokane Valley

One of the most popular wellness events in the area is returning to Spokane Valley soon.

The upcoming Active Living Expo is the fifth time the event will be held, and it is aimed at those 55 and older, and their friends and families. It has proven to be very popular as it provides a great deal of useful information and local resources for older people. The expo will have information on ways seniors can improve their leisure, finances, and health. Organizers note that experts on financial information, insurance, travel, and other subjects will be available to chat with visitors.

At the event, attendees will find over 50 information booths, entertainment, seminars, and a reception with regional wine and food after the event. The “after party” is new this year.

Among this year’s sponsors are Natural Grocers, and NeuroStim TMS Centers. The grocers provide the finest in high-quality produce, vitamins, dietary supplements, nutrition information, and body care products. The NeuroStim TMS Centers use magnetic waves in the treatment of some Forms of depression. There is still room for any vendors and sponsors who want to join in the fun.

The expo is scheduled for April 20, at the Mirabeau Park Hotel and Convention Center at 1100 N Sullivan Rd. Parking is free.
