An event for medical professionals is taking place in Spokane Valley at the end of the week.
Primary Care Update 2024 is an in-person conference that will feature speakers from different medical disciplines discussing the latest information about these specialties.
The conference kicks off with breakfast, exhibits, and a welcome, before the talks on a range of medical themes begin.
Theodore Rosen, MD, will present “Common Interferon-Mediated Diseases,” discussing the way in which some skin diseases share changes, and treatments. A talk on “Endocrinologists’ View of Menopause” will be given by H. Kennedy Cathcart, followed by a break.
Dr. Rosen will return with “Connective Tissue Diseases,” followed by “Pre-Diabetes: What Can be Done About it?,” by H. Kennedy Cathcart. After lunch, Seth Cohen, MD, will discuss “Beyond Masking: Hot Topics in Respiratory Medicine,” followed by Stephan Pakkianathan, MD, speaking about “Surviving the 40s and 50s: Transitions with Women.”
Next, Laura Fralich, MD, will discuss the latest information about sports-related concussions in “Concussion Update: The Amsterdam 2022 International Conference.” Katheryn Hudon, DO, will discuss working with depression and anxiety in children, and Jennifer Rock, ARNP, will deliver a talk on migraines. Dr. Cohen will return with “Case Studies in Outpatient Infectious Diseases,” and Rachel Safran, MD, will present “Things We Do (in Clinic) For No Reason,” discussing best practices.
Primary Care Update 2024 is scheduled from this Friday, May 3 at 7.00 am until Saturday, May 4 at 12.00 pm at the Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center on North Sullivan Road. Gatherings like this are perfect opportunities for attendees to exchange Business Cards.
