New hotel open in Spokane Valley

A Fairfield Inn & Suites recently opened in Spokane Valley. Operating under the Marriott umbrella, the hotel will be run by Spokane Valley's Sterling Hospitality Management.

The hotel is on East Mission Avenue, and has been decorated in a warm, rustic style, featuring a farmhouse table to welcome visitors as they enter the lobby; new photographs throughout the facility; and modern window treatments and chairs in all the guest rooms. The hotel is a franchise operation.

Sterling Hospitality operates in five states in total: Washington, Nevada, Utah, Montana, and Idaho, managing a total of twelve properties. The management firm is also affiliated with other well-known hotel brands including SpringHill by Marriott, Quality Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, and Holiday Inn Express. When the owner/operator of a franchise like this opens their doors, they can make their first guests' experience memorable by distributing promotional Pens as a “thank you” for visiting.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites brand was established in 1987, inspired by the concept of a pure, healthy life on a farm. The farm in this case was Fairfield Farm, which Alice Marriott and John Willard bought in 1951; the property is located in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. The first Fairfield Inn opened in Atlanta, and today, there are almost 900 locations throughout the country, all offering a relaxed environment for guests. Fairfield is planning to expand overseas in the near future.
