Networking event in Spokane Valley

An event is coming up to help small businesses become successful.

The Networking and Key Performance Indicator Convo will be headed by Rob Stephens, the Founder of CFO Perspective and author of "Conquering Cash Flow - The Complete Guide to Small Business Cash Flow Management". He will discuss a frequently overlooked aspect of business, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The title of the talk is “KPI’s and KPI Dashboards: Define Success to Drive Success.”

KPIs show progress toward a specific goal by indicating where operational and strategic improvement is necessary, creating an analytical basis to use to make decisions, and focusing on what is most important. Using KPIs successfully includes deciding on specific targets, and tracking progress made toward those goals. Using KPIs to help manage a business can sometimes mean trying to improve leading indicators to boost lagging benefits at a later date.

Good KPIs provide measurable evidence that progress is being made toward the specific goal. They also measure what must be measured to help businesspeople make better decisions. They also have a mechanism that gauges how much performance changes over time. Finally, KPIs can track resource utilization, personnel performance, project performance, economics, behaviors, compliance, governance, timeliness, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

The event is scheduled for January 11 at 2818 North Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley, with networking beginning at 4.30 pm, and the conversation starting at 5.15 pm. Events like this are perfect places to exchange Business Cards.
