Huge show near Spokane Valley

Major events showcasing home improvement options are often held in the spring and fall, and now such an event is on the schedule and will take place near Spokane Valley.

The Spokane Home Builders Association organizes two shows annually, and it is now time for the Home Idea Show. Over 300 exhibitors will be on hand, showcasing the latest services and newest products for homeowners. From experts in decking, siding, roofing, and landscaping to kitchen and bath planners, vendors will have something for almost every project.

In addition, many vendors will offer Show Specials, and sometimes have stock they wish to sell quickly. Visitors should be prepared to purchase products at the show, or arrange for a visit from a contractor.

The Home Idea Show runs for three days, October 7, 8, and 9. Hours are October 7, from 12 pm until 8 pm, October 8, from 10 am until 7 pm, and October 9, from 10 am until 5 pm. Admission for adults is $10, and $8 for military personnel and seniors. Children 12 and under will be admitted free.

The venue is the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center on North Havana Street in Spokane, next door to Spokane Valley. A large space like this has room for hundreds of vendors, so organizers of these types of events can work with flyer printing to create handouts for attendees, including a list of vendors and a map to help ease confusion.
