Huge craft show on Spokane Valley's radar

One of the biggest craft shows in the region has been scheduled for Spokane Valley in early 2021.

People attending Custer's 44th Annual Spring Arts & Crafts Show will be able to see the works and products of over 300 professional crafters and artists from throughout the Pacific Northwest. These artisans will display and sell specialty foods, hand-crafted items, and fine art works. There are nearly 80,000 square feet available for the vendors to set up, making the event the Inland Northwest's largest of its type.

Visitors to the show can expect to find seasonal décor, candles, soaps, photography, and unique jewelry creations. The artists who will be showing their works have made creations in mixed media, wearable fiber art, metal, wood turning, fused glass, and hand-thrown pottery.

Craft fairs are great places to find unusual foodstuffs, and the spring show is no exception. Foods on sale include baking mixes, balsamic vinegars, artisan cheeses, caramel apples, and loose-leaf teas. Many vendors will have products available for sampling.

The Spring Arts & Crafts Show will be held March 5 to 7, at the Spokane Fair & Expo Center in Spokane Valley. For March 5, the hours are from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm. March 6 has an earlier closing time of 6:00 pm, and March 7 wraps up at 4:00 pm. Flyer printing is often used to list vendors and locations at such events.
