Fundraiser on behalf of at-risk youth in Spokane Valley

A fundraiser is coming up soon to benefit an organization that serves young people in Spokane Valley.

2BU is presenting its annual Mane Event fundraiser that features raffles, fun, and food, all to benefit 2BU Youth Ranch. The fun includes a 50/50 raffle, a dessert auction, silent auction, and live auction. A Traeger Pro 575 Wifi Grill and Smoker, which has a value of $1,000, will also be auctioned.

The meal is a BBQ buffet with a country-western flavor. The menu includes smoked beef brisket, huckleberry BBQ ribs, country-fried chicken, and various side dishes. Children ages 10 and younger will be served a meal of chicken tenders, and parents are asked to get in touch with 2BU Ranch directly to purchase this meal. An open bar is also part of the festivities.

The 2BU Ranch uses horses to teach children the values of acceptance, responsibility, and trust. Children and their leader pair up to help care for the horse by cleaning water tanks, stalls, and grooming the animal, which enhances the bond between the child and the horse.

The Mane Event will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, at the Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center on North Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley. When events like this are planned, organizers can use brochure printing to create pamphlets about the mission of the organization being supported.
