An upcoming event near Spokane Valley celebrates cosplaying, Harry Potter, and all things fun and fantasy.
The Harry Potter Art & Cosplay Expo will take place in Spokane, and includes an art show featuring works about Harry Potter and other popular fandoms.
Multiple exhibits will feature “Dungeons and Dragons,” “Lord of the Rings,” anime, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, “Star Wars,” Disney, and of course “Harry Potter,” as well as a number of others.
There will not be any vendors at this event, as Amazing Art Expo Artists are the only ones who will be exhibiting. The prohibition extends to food vendors, so attendees should plan accordingly.
Cosplayers are especially welcome, and have a chance to receive a gift certificate, and to be introduced to the audience by a DJ, who will play a song appropriate to the person’s character or costume. Anyone interested in a certificate should check with the event for the criteria for receiving them. Events such as this are often promoted throughout a community using flyer printing, which can be used to design advertising materials.
The fun is set for November 3, from 5.00pm until 9.00pm, and November 4 and November 5 from 12.00pm until 6.00pm, at the Spokane Convention Center on West Spokane Falls Boulevard. The event is free and appropriate for all ages. There are no tickets are needed for this event, making it entirely free.
