A show that is part circus, part cabaret, and part theater with a generous helping of horror thrown in is coming to Spokane Valley.
A red-and-black striped tent is the big top for the Paranormal Cirque II. The “Clown Castle” is home to strange creatures, freaks, illusionists, acrobats, and all the performances people have come to associate with a “normal” circus, but this production has very little normal about it.
According to a performer with the show, which has an R rating and will not admit anyone under age 13, people can expect adult humor and some off-color language. The show is a Vegas-quality production aimed at adults, whether on a date night or enjoying the company of friends. Standard circus entertainment is performed by zombies, werewolves, ghosts, and vampires, and the entire production leans heavily into the supernatural, the paranormal, and horror. A haunted attraction is available before the show and is included in the ticket price.
Paranormal Cirque is a production of Cirque Italia, which has its headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, renowned for its history with the circus industry. There are several touring companies of the show.
Paranormal Cirque II will set up its sinister tent at the Spokane Valley Mall from May 23 through May 25. Young people under 17 must be accompanied by a guardian over 21. Attractions like this traditionally use Posters to advertise, which they will find at local Print shops.
