A four-day festival featuring top chefs, brewers, vintners, and distillers will make Spokane Valley the place to be this summer.
The 2020 Crave! Food & Drink Celebration brings four special events and a Grand Tasting, as well as the opportunity for attendees to walk around sampling bites from a wide array of local restaurants. Samples of craft beers, wines, and spirits will also be available.
The main events are a seafood night on Thursday; Fire & Smoke on Friday; and World Foods on Saturday. There will be two Grand Tastings, Saturday and Sunday, when the meal will be a fried chicken dinner, family-style.
At each of the main events, 12 to 16 chefs will be serving samples of their culinary creations, and craft cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, will be available from a number of vendors. These are walk-around events; there is no seated meal being served. The same is true for the Grand Tastings, except that in addition to the food, chefs will be giving demonstrations on the main stage.
There is also a literary component to the event, as best-selling authors who have written works that involve the culinary world will appear on the Spokesman Review Northwest Passages main stage to discuss their projects.
2020 Crave is scheduled for July 16-19, at the Spokane Valley CenterPlace in Spokane Valley; tickets are on sale now. Banner printing in an excellent tool for creating decorations for this type of event.
