Event for start-ups coming to Spokane Valley

A special event that benefits start-ups will be held in Spokane Valley.

Founders Live is a global event that is launching a session in Spokane Valley. The organization is looking for the founders of five start-ups to pitch their businesses.

The start-ups will be handpicked, and each will be given 99 seconds to pitch their business and its value before an audience of other entrepreneurs. A question-and-answer session will follow the pitches, which will allow the audience to get to know more about the five companies. After that, the audience will pick a winner, who will be given an award as well as general recognition. They will also have something especially valuable – a chance to provide additional information about their products and services.

The winner of Founders Live will receive a package including $10,000 in AWS (Amazon Web Services) credits, plus the chance to compete in a Founders Live Prime Time global event at some time in the future.

The meeting starts with a Happy Hour and Networking session at 5:00 pm, followed by an introduction of sponsors, announcements, and the Pitch Competition at 5:45 pm. An after-party beginning at 7:00 pm ends the evening.

Events like these are perfect places for entrepreneurs to exchange Business Cards, a practice that is encouraged. The Founders Live Pitch Competition is scheduled for January 12, at the Burbity Workspaces in the Sullivan Valley Commons on North Sullivan Road in Spokane Valley.
