An artist who has enjoyed a meteoric rise as a dubstep master will pay a visit to Spokane Valley.
Preston Charles, who goes by the stage name SubDocta, came to the attention of the dubstep community in 2017, when he released “2009 Was Tight,” a single that became a huge success, and earned support from artists like Brassnectar. SubDocta has created his own style of hybrid music and dubstep that he calls “West Coast Wobble.”
In 2018, SubDocta was the featured artist on several tours of some of dubstep’s biggest stars. He played with Ganja White Night at many sold-out performances, and joined Riot Ten when the latter went on his “Hype or Die” tour. Other gigs include opening for Opiuo on his “SYZYGY 01” tour, and joining Dirt Monkey for his “Rise of the Octopeel” Tour.
SubDocta has also been featured at numerous North American festivals, appearing at SnowTa, Infrasound, Enchanted Forest, The Untz, Lucidity, Big Dub, and Valhalla. Bigger names continued to support him, and their encouragement led him to release “West Coat Wobble,” his debut EP, as well as two singles. “West Coast Wobble” went all the way to #1 on Beatport’s chart of the top 100 releases I the dubstep genre.
SubDocta will appear at Players and Spectators Event Center on East Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley on February 5. To create fantastic advertising for events like this, organizers can use poster printing.
