Christmas party planned in Spokane Valley

A group of brokers is planning a party and auction in support of several local organizations.

The Independent Brokers of Spokane is hosting its annual Christmas Party & Charity Auction. The evening is open to members of the association as well as their spouses, friends, and family. In addition to enjoy one another’s company, the evening gives attendees a chance to give back by purchasing and bidding on donated items. The funds raised will go to support five organizations that help those in need: Mission Community Outreach, Day Bridge, Daybreak Youth Services, Because There is Hope, and Angel Flight Northwest. Brochure printing can provide pamphlets about these organizations.

Mission Community Outreach is a center that provides free clothing, hygiene products, housewares, and diapers; DayBridge is a recreation center for the disabled; Daybreak Youth Services works with teens on mental health and addiction issues; Because There is Hope supports those undergoing cancer treatment; and Angel Flight transports patients to their doctors without charge.

The party in 2019 raised more than $25,717, and this year the association helps to break that record and raise $28,000. The association is requesting for donations to be made in cash, or that businesses give an item that represents its goods and services.

The party is set for December 7 and will be held at CenterPlace Regional Event Center in Spokane Valley, from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now with prices ranging from $45 to $750.
