A wine walk is in the works in Puyallup for next month, offering area residents the opportunity to sip their favorite vintage while exploring the town’s shops.
The SIP Puyallup Wine Walk has announced an official date on the town’s event calendar, and interested parties will want to save the date to ensure they can join the fun. The event’s focus is encouraging participants to check out both new and existing small businesses in the downtown district.
The stroll will take participants to several participating venues, with over 20 stops scheduled. Stops will provide guests with samples of wine, beer, cider, champagne, and more. Food specials will also be available from participating restaurants and eateries in town. Planners can work with Print shops to provide Brochures and maps to guide participants to each stop and provide more information about these businesses.
All participants must be 21 or older to sign up, and those who choose to drink are asked to do so responsibly. Each guest will receive a wristband, complimentary tasting cup, event coupon book and map, along with 10 drink tickets. Additional drink tickets can be purchased at the check-in booth.
The check-in booth will be set up at 109 North Meridian in downtown Puyallup. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 9th, beginning at 1:00 PM. Tickets start at $48.15 per person online.
