Huge show in Puyallup for outdoor lovers

A show for sportsmen is returning to Puyallup where it will take over the Washington State Fair Event Center for several days.

Leupold is presenting the 39th annual Washington Sportsmen’s Show, the largest such show in the state. Hundreds of exhibitors will be on hand with hunting and fishing gear, ATVs, boats, and more. Outfitters, guides, and outdoor experts will attend, and items numbering in the thousands will be available at prices available only at the event.

New this year is the Batson Enterprises Fishing Fighting Experience, where anglers can visit the Batson booth and try their hand at landing a fish that is fighting back. Another new attraction is the Byrna Shooting Pod, where shooters can practice their aim in a safe environment.
The Steelhead River is returning as well, and more fishing fun will take place with the return of the Les Schwab Kids Free Trout Pond. Other planned activities include the Heads and Horns Competition, a Plinko Game, and lectures. The Addicted Fishing crew will show their latest movie.

The 3D Archery Open Challenge is returning and the prize has been increased to $10,000. There are open and single string adult divisions, and a youth division. The event takes place outside where archers take aim at 3D targets placed at various distances.

The show is free, and is scheduled for January 28 – February 1. When they set up events like this, organizers can use flyer printing to create a map of exhibitors for attendees.
