A party for fans of popular culture, especially comics, anime, Star Wars, and wrestling is on the way to Puyallup.
Washington State SummerCon is a gathering of those who enjoy video games, collectibles, TV shows, movies, comic Books, and toys, most of it centered on the media and pop culture. A variety of crafters, comic book creators, authors, artists, and vendors will be attending, giving people a chance to meet and chat with some of their favorite artists.
In addition, instructional panels, static displays, children’s activities, cosplay contests, and gaming tournaments are planned, and most of these activities and attractions are included in the price of the ticket. Anything that costs extra will be clearly indicated.
Numerous celebrities have already been confirmed as attending. They include major media stars such as Star Trek icon George Takei (Lieutenant Hikaru Sulo) and indie director Kevin Smith, as well as comic and anime illustrators and voice actors, and stars from the world of wrestling.
In addition, the full food court will be open with scones, burgers, pizza, BBQ and other selections. Seating will be available in this area.
The Washington State Summer Con is scheduled for June 19-21 at the Washington State Fair and Events Center in Puyallup. The con is the perfect place for enthusiasts to share their love of various fandoms. Events like this benefit from the colorful Posters that organizers can source from local Print shops.
