Puyallup creates magic for the holidays

What started as a small event has expanded into a multi-day holiday celebration.

In 2020, a drive-through experience was started, giving people a chance to enjoy a spectacular holiday event. The event expanded and Holiday Magic is now a staple in the area.

Holiday Magic takes place on 11 days throughout December, four of which are special days, with extra activities. The first is Opening Night, and the second is Ugly Sweater Night. The third is Grinch Night, and the final special time is Country Night.

A separate but connected event, the Victorian Christmas Festival, is taking place at the same time. The festival features a visit from Santa, live presentations and musical ats at the Holiday Jubilee Theater, and opportunities for shopping with local artisans.

The event will also have space for people who might become over-stimulated. Organizers are partnering with KultureCity to provide a Sensory Shed where people can enjoy quiet time. Sensory tools will be available in this area.

The dates of Holiday Magic are December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23. The four special days are December 5 (Opening Night), 7 (Ugly Sweater), 12 (Grinch), and 19 (Cowboy). The hours are from 4.30 pm until 9.30 pm each day. The Victorian Christmas Festival takes place December 4-7. The venue for both events is the Washington State Fair Events Center. Colorful Posters are the perfect way to advertise events like this, and organizers can find them at Print shops.
