Puyallup to put scaly set in the spotlight

An expo is on the way for Puyallup showcasing options for those who prefer the scaly set when it comes to pets.

An activity billed as the largest reptile and exotic animal show in the Northwest is set for the community, and it will be open to the public for two days. Admission for a single day is $15, and a discounted price will be available for kids ages 6 to 10. Younger children can enter free of charge, and a VIP option is also on offer.

The expo-style event will feature over 150 vendors, and not-for-profits and rescues have also been invited to take part. The show’s floor space covers an area of at least 85,000 square feet, and there will be educational displays along with the seller booths. Plants will also be in the mix, and those interested in insects and arachnids may also find the function interesting.

The organizers of the weekend explained that while legitimate service animals are welcome, for the safety of the attendees and animals, pets should be left at home. The VIP pass offers early admission as well as a collectable pint glass printed with a special graphic design.

The Pacific NW Reptile and Exotic Animal Show will welcome fans on the July 13 and 14 weekend. Washington State Fair has been booked for the occasion.
