Puyallup will be kicking off July with a two-day festival, and one of the activities on the way will give local car fans lots to talk about.
Bill Korum’s Puyallup Nissan and the Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to host a day that will be all about fun on four wheels. The registration system for the Red, White & Varoom has gone live, and the festivities will be on offer at 300 South Meridian.
This show and shine will be part of the larger Fourth of July festivities to be held in the city, and it will feature the classic vehicles, as well as a kids’ zone, live music, and also a beer garden. The cost to register a car is $25 in advance, while they may be available at the gate, they will be priced a little higher at $30.
The vehicle will be judged in an assortment of categories, one of while is People's Choice. Prizes and other awards will be presented to the winners. Dash plaques, trophies, and awards certificates can be readily prepared by area printers, and they may include a logo or any other graphic design desired.
This classic car show will be rolling into Pioneer Park on Tuesday, July 4. Information about the other plans for the Red, White and Kaboom festival can be found on the Eventbrite listing.
