Puyallup to celebrate a traditional Christmas

The Victorian Country Christmas Festival is taking place for five days this December in Puyallup.

The festival will offer activities to please every member of the family, no matter what their age or interests. The Victorian Village is set to feature 560 stores filled with all sorts of merchandise suitable for gift giving or decorating the home for the holidays.

There will be two theaters: the Victorian Opry Theater and the Holiday Jubilee Theater. Entertainment will be provided by acts like Chuck Worthy, the Fantastic Stardust Follies, the Silver Spurs Country Western Revue, and the Cantate Home School Choir.

There is also set to be a Singing Nativity Show, the Winter Wine Garden, and gourmet food and free samples.

One of the most popular parts of the festival is bound to be the North Pole at the Fair. This will feature Santa's house and his workshop, in which kids can build toys and enjoy storytelling, chocolate chip cookies, and pictures with Santa.

To help make events like this look more festive, organizers often invest in sign and banner printing services; a colorful sign or banner hung over the entrance to an event can attract more people.

The festival is being held at the Washington State Fair Events Center from December 3 to 7. Tickets are $11 for adults, $9 for seniors, and $8 for students and military personnel. Call 253-770-7777 to learn more.
