The Festive Fun event is taking place on three Saturdays next month in Puyallup. It is presented by Meridian Sunrise Village.
This free event will have lots of family-friendly activities that should make everyone happy. There will be pictures with Santa Claus on his sled, horse-drawn wagon rides, and an indoor nativity/petting zoo that will feature goats, sheep, and a camel.
Special events will feature each week. On the first Saturday, Donner the Reindeer will make an appearance, and the Dickens Carolers will entertain the weekend after. The final Saturday will see appearances by Mrs. Claus and the balloon twisting elves.
Other activities include a scavenger hunt to find 14 Hooliday Owls to be entered into a draw for a prize, and the Puyallup South Hill Lions Christmas tree lot. In addition, most of the shops and restaurants will be offering special holiday deals.
Visitors can also visit the giving tree to make a donation that will benefit the Pierce County Santa Corps.
No doubt the stores that will be offering special deals will be displaying Posters or Flyers that they obtained from a Puyallup Print company.
