Puyallup ready to welcome glass pumpkin patch

A special pumpkin patch will soon be springing up in Puyallup’s Pioneer Park Pavilion, and it will be an event for lovers of handmade crafts to enjoy.

Tacoma Glass Blowing Studio will be sponsoring the city’s installment of the NW Glass Pumpkin Patch, which will feature hundreds of handblown glass pumpkins. These glass gourds will be crafted by local artisans, and they will each be one of a kind.

The pumpkins on display will be in a wide assortment of sizes, colors and prices, and it has been stressed that while they may fit in well with autumn decor, they can be used at any time of the year or given as a gift.

Since this past year had a slow production level, the organizers say they have decided to reduce the number of events on the schedule for 2021, making this one especially important.

By bringing together a large number of artisans, a cooperative activity like this can make a big impact. A poster printing company will be able to help ensure a good turnout, and many of its products can fit in with a function's bottom line.

The Northwest Glass Pumpkin Patch will be adding a handmade touch to the Halloween season on October 23. It will be open to shoppers from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
