Puyallup plans to sip and stroll

Puyallup will be welcoming fall’s arrival with an event that will showcase the area's craft beverage industry.

The date has been set for the annual SIP Puyallup stroll, and it will be on offer in the establishments along North Meridian. The check-in station will be set up at 109 North Meridian, and there are at least 20 stops on the list.

Ticketholders for the celebration will be able to sip and shop, showing love to local establishments as they go. Official wristbands will be distributed to the participants, and they will also receive 10 tasting tickets. More may be purchased ahead of time for $5 for two, and they will also be on offer at the check-in booth.

The function is only open to those age 21 and up, and no refunds will be given. Food may be purchased at some of the venues that will be taking part. Along with the wristbands, each attendee will receive a custom tasting glass printed with a special graphic design. Maps of the route will also be supplied so they can easily locate the various stops along the way.

This salute to Puyallup’s small business side is scheduled to run from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Saturday, September 28. The Puyallup Main Street website can be consulted for more details about the afternoon.
