Puyallup moms invited to get planting

Succulents have become the new trend in houseplants, and a Mother’s Day planting party will see Puyallup ladies craft their own potted garden.

ReRooted has put together a special event where moms and other women will be able to create a planter using succulents and an assortment of materials. They can take their arrangements home with them at the end of the event, and each ticket will reserve two tickets for the workshop.

All of the instructions for making the gardens will be supplied to the attendees, and once they have done crafting, they will be able to head outdoors and meet the animals at Wild Child Farm. As the session will take place outdoors, everyone is reminded to dress for the weather, and locally crafted drinks and snacks will be on offer.

The planners explained that each duo will be going home with their planters and also a special treat. They will receive a charcuterie box from Milk and Honey Company to enjoy at home, and customized Packaging supplies for these sorts of items can be prepared by area Print shops.

This chance for the community to greet spring with a brand new succulent planter has been scheduled for May 2. Tickets to get involved in the activity are $150, and it will be taking place at Wild Child Farm located at 8311 214th Ave East.
