With all he has to do, December is a busy time of year for Santa, but he is still making time to pay a visit to Puyallup to help kick off its festive celebrations.
The city will once again be hosting its annual Puyallup Santa Parade this year, and it will follow a route that winds through the community. Local kids have been invited to be part of an activity that will take place before the procession, and run packets may be picked up at the end of November ahead of the event.
The kids who register for the Gingerbread Kids Dash will run along the route the parade will follow, and afterwards, they can warm up with some hot chocolate while they watch the spectacle along with the crowd. A gingerbread house decorating competition is in the works as well, and businesses in the community will incorporate these confectionery creations in their holiday displays.
Hosts of fundraisers and large public events often choose to order T-shirt or other Apparel featuring its Logo Design. These can be ordered from area Print shops, which will have various styles and price points for its customers to choose from.
This active start to the holiday season will hit the road on December 4. It is intended for kids from ages three to ten years of age.
