Puyallup kids who are fascinated by the big rigs may really enjoy a two-day activity that will give them a chance to explore them up close and in person.
The Washington State Fair is getting ready for Dozer Day, which will give the community's little ones a sneak peek into these big vehicles. Entry will be by timed tickets, and they may be purchased in advance.
Families who stop by the event will be able to enjoy watching the excitement on their kids’ faces as they climb on and in the heavy equipment parked onsite. They will even be able to sit in the driver’s seat and try the machinery out for themselves, and while they do, their parents or guardians can look on and take photos.
While the function will be all about having a great time, it also has a higher purpose. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to local children’s charities. To thank the sponsors, many of which are in the local transportation and construction industries, the Logo Design of each of them can be found on the Dozer Day website.
This in-person activity event for kids and parents to enjoy together will be on offer on the weekend of May 20 and 21. The venue for the occasion will be the Washington State Fair Events Center.
