Children battling brain tumors will soon be offered a helping hand thanks to an activity planned for the Puyallup area.
The Car Show 4 Kids fundraiser will celebrate 10 years of giving car buffs a chance to show off their pride and joy. Cars, motorcycles, and trucks will all be welcome, and the O'Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center has provided space for the occasion.
Members of the public are invited to stop by the event and help to make it a success. The first 100 to arrive will receive swag Bags that may contain goodies such as promotional Pens, and awards will be presented to the top vehicle entries. Door prize draws and raffles will add to the overall excitement, and arrangements have been made to have food trucks on site.
According to the organizers of the celebration, all prizes will be donated by the area's corporate community. Local businesses that would like to get involved are welcome to do so, and the planners may be reached at carshow4kids@comcast.net to discuss the opportunity. The companies that do so will be able to market their business while doing a good turn.
The 10th annual Car Show 4 Kids will be rolling into O'Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center on July 16. It will be open to the public from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
