An activity that will explore the topic of dementia from several perspectives is on the way to the Puyallup area early next month.
The Parkland Spanaway Pierce County Library in Tacoma will be the location for a Tuesday morning community conversation that will be focused on Alzheimer’s disease and other Forms of dementia. Everyone who is impacted by these conditions, whether it is themselves or a family member, is invited to attend the function, and participation in the session is free.
During the two-hour meeting, attendees will be invited to share their own personal experiences and challenges related to dementia, while also listening to others discuss their own issues as well. The goal is both to provide support and find out how the host organization can best serve the needs of the local area. Light refreshments will be served to the group, and the planners may be reached by calling 206-0529-3884.
Pamphlets may be well suited for distribution during a workshop, meeting, or other gathering like this, whether it is formal or informal. They can be readily sourced from local brochure printing companies.
This chance for those who call Puyallup home and are impacted by dementia to have their say and meet others traveling the same road will be on offer on Tuesday, June 6. It will kick off at 10:30 am.
