While many enjoy spending time with their furry friend, others prefer the feathered set, and an upcoming Puyallup area expo will cater to these avian enthusiasts.
The Seattle Parrot Expo will be taking over the Auburn Community and Event Center, and the proceeds will be used by Flight Club Foundation. Anyone who would like to be part of the fun can check it out virtually, but for the best experience, organizers recommend they should attend in person.
Those who stop by will be able to shop from a selection of local vendors, and there will be a display featuring over 40 live animals. The attendees will learn about parrot conservation efforts, and a photo booth, interactive games, shows, and a fundraising table with branded Promotional Products such as T-Shirts and lanyards will be on offer. A raffle, auction, and “spin the prize wheel” will also be set up as fundraising activities.
To help make the expo the best one yet, its planners are interested in hearing from any local businesses that would like to sponsor the event or set up a vendor table or exhibit. They are asked to visit the Flight Club Foundation’s website for more information.
This two-day celebration of the joys brought by feathered friends will be putting parrots in the spotlight on September 23 and 24. Everyone is welcome to drop by, and they can also sign up ahead of time for the workshops and other learning sessions.
