Puyallup area conference to showcase South Sound small business

An opportunity will soon be offered to the Puyallup business community to come together with other south Puget Sound enterprises in a spirit of collaboration.

This Year’s Annual South Sound Small Business Summit will mark National Small Business Week, and it will include presentations from four speakers. There will also be time for networking and building connections.

Along with the presentations, the summit will also offer delegates a chance to take part in a panel discussion where they can ask questions and find out more about the opportunities available to them to help their businesses grow. The topics that will be addressed during the event range from human resource management to financing, development, and marketing, and according to the organizers, last year more than 100 attendees were on hand.

Along with being a networking and information sharing occasion, the conference will also act as a fundraiser for SCORE, which provides free professional mentoring and other services to local small businesses. Light refreshment will be provided to the delegates, and it will be held in Tacoma’s Star Center. Logo Design and other marketing services for this type of function can be provided by an area printing company.

May 1 has been selected to be the date for this celebration of the role small businesses play in the community. More information can be obtained on the summit’s website.
